Counseling & Psychotherapy

“When something bad happens you have three choices. You can either let it define you, let it destroy you, or you can let it strengthen you.”

― Dr. Seuss

Do you often feel as if you are bad, a failure or simply not good enough? Do you feel unimportant? Do you find yourself feeling invisible, powerless, or helpless? Do you feel alone, or overwhelmed? Or maybe… do you feel as if you are responsible for everything and everyone? Do you say to yourself: I should have done something. Do you feel like you have to be in control at all times or that you can’t trust your judgment?

Do you often find yourself thinking: I am losing control, I’m going to die, I’m in danger? Have you gone to the E.R. multiple times for doctors to say: “You are not having a heart attack or dying; your anxiety is out of control. You experienced a panic attack. You need therapy!”

Did you experienced any type of child abuse: physical, emotional, sexual… or where you neglected? Do you feel like your past continues to ruin your present?

Or may be… are you concerned that your child is unhappy, sad or depressed, withdrawn, cries often, is irritable or easily upset? Are you or your child upset from possible traumatic experience or had a major loss: divorce, dead, car accident, etc.?

If any of your answers is “yes,” I may be able to help. I have been proving mental health services for the past nearly 20 years. I specialize in trauma treatment. I use primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Somatic Approaches, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
